First and foremost, we will never sell, lease, or rent your confidential information, including name, address, phone number, email address, and any other information you may give us.
Christian Encounter Ranch does not collect personal information without your knowledge during your visit to our web site or the Agony Ride mobile app. You may be asked to provide information for various purposes, such as signing up to ride or volunteer, or making a donation. In those instances, CER may collect the following personal data categories: Name, mailing address, email address, phone number, age, gender, secondary or emergency contacts, shirt size, dietary needs, physical limitations, ride or sag preferences, availability, resources, auto insurance details, medical training details, and/or vehicle details.
We collect data when you provide it to us directly. You may provide certain data to us when you: (a) register as a rider; (b) register as a sagger; and/or (c) make a pledge for a team or rider. Data is provided by filling out and submitting an online form. Depending upon the activity, some of the data may be mandatory and some may be voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you may not be able to engage in that activity.
By entering your data into Agony Ride sites or apps, or providing it to CER, you agree to allow CER to collect and use the data for the following purposes:
CER will retain your data for as long as needed or permitted to fulfill the purposes and uses described in this Policy. When we no longer need your data, and there is no need to keep it to comply with our legal obligations or protect our legal rights, we will either delete it from our systems or depersonalize it so we can’t identify you.
You may request that your personal data on AgonyRide.org be rectified or deleted by emailing agony@christianencounter.org. We reserve the right to confirm your identity before taking any action to delete your data. CER will assess each request to be forgotten on a case by case basis to determine the extent to which data can be deleted. We will comply with all requests to be forgotten except where CER has a legal obligation to retain your data.
To safeguard and secure the information we collect online or in the mobile app, we have applied appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to prevent unauthorized access and maintain data accuracy. Internet encryption software, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, is utilized to protect sensitive data transmissions with credit card information. You are able to see when the SSL encryption is active either by the "padlock" icon at the bottom of your browser's window or by a blue line around the window. In certain areas, password protection is used to protect your privacy and security.
