This is my second year participating in the Agony Ride, a 24-hour cycling event that raises money for Christian Encounter Ranch. Christian Encounter is a place where teens who have experienced abuse, trauma, or other difficult circumstances can find hope and healing in a Christ-centered community. Last year I rode 107 miles and learned that I could ride much farther than I thought. More importantly, I experienced God’s faithfulness throughout the ride. There were moments when I felt exhausted, yet He continued to give me the strength to keep going. Christian Encounter has become a meaningful part of my life. I have been attending church there for the past two years and was baptized there last fall. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to build personal relationships with several of the students. Getting to know them has given me an even greater appreciation for the courage and vulnerability it takes to come to the Ranch. This year my goal is to ride 200 miles. I would be grateful for your prayers and, if you feel led, for your financial support to help Christian Encounter continue serving these young people. -Micah
