I first heard about the Ranch in September of 2023 when I was interning at a ministry in Missouri. At first, I was not even considering the idea of moving to California, but the Holy Spirit was working in my heart and building a curiosity. I completed a two year internship in March of this year and have continued to be involved with the Ranch. In my time here, I have seen first hand the healing of hearts the Lord has done through the commitment and faithfulness of the staff and interns and the everyday "yes" and bravery the students have to choose. I have seen students be in hopeless places with no desire to look toward the future receive Jesus and have hope again. I have seen broken families have restoration. I have seen teenagers who had to be adults way too soon be able to be children again. I want to ride in the agony to continue to show-up for these precious students and show them that they are worth it. My discomfort and sacrifice is nothing compared to the discomfort and sacrifice that Jesus made for them and my prayer is that they catch a glimpse of the true love being offered from Him.
